was born out of a simple idea — when local businesses come together, the whole island
THRIVES.
Our IMPACT
In less than a year, What's Up FMB has:
• Successfully raised more than $100,000 to fund community fireworks, parades, and public events.
• Created the Island Charm Crawl, an island-wide tourism initiative that attracted hundreds of participants while driving traffic to local businesses.
• Launched Coastal Cars & Coffee, attracting more than 60 curated vehicles, including a rare Porsche 918 Spyder and an estimated $30 million in vehicles during its inaugural event.
• Produced Freedom by the Bay, Island Charm Crawl, Coastal Cars & Coffee, Glow by the Gulf, Mullet Madness, and Illuminations Parade, creating unique experiences for residents and visitors alike.
• Built an organization representing more than 100 business members, nonprofit partners, and community supporters.
• Developed partnerships with local businesses, resorts, law enforcement agencies, community organizations, and tourism stakeholders to create safe, successful, and memorable events.
