The annual Fort Myers Beach Chamber of Commerce Christmas Boat Parade lights up the back bay waterways each December with beautifully decorated vessels gliding across the waterway. Boats assemble at Salty Sam’s Marina, depart at 6:00 PM, and travel past waterfront restaurants, the Matanzas Pass Bridge and Siesta Isles canals—creating a festive, floating light display for all to enjoy.
Christmas Tree Festival & Holiday Raffle

Each December, the Fort Myers Beach Women’s Club hosts its annual Christmas Tree Festival, featuring beautifully decorated trees and wreaths created by local non-profits and offered in a festive auction to benefit island causes. American Sand Sculpting Championship

Each November, one of America’s premier sand-sculpting events comes to Fort Myers Beach. Master sculptors from around the world go head-to-head creating massive, intricate sand sculptures created from nothing but beach sand and creativity. The 35th annual championship runs November 20 – 24, 2025 and is held at the DiamondHead Beach Resort, with friendly competitions, family sand-play areas, live entertainment, food vendors, and more.
