Boats assemble at Salty Sam’s Marina, depart at 6:00 PM, and travel past waterfront restaurants, the Matanzas Pass Bridge and Siesta Isles canals—creating a festive, floating light display for all to enjoy.

American Sand Sculpting Championship

Each November, one of America’s premier sand-sculpting events comes to Fort Myers Beach. Master sculptors from around the world go head-to-head creating massive, intricate sand sculptures created from nothing but beach sand and creativity. The 35th annual championship runs November 20 – 24, 2025 and is held at the DiamondHead Beach Resort, with friendly competitions, family sand-play areas, live entertainment, food vendors, and more.
